August 3, 2009 – TEC awarded MARAD contract for Hawaii Harbors Expansion

August 3, 2009 – TEC Inc. was awarded a contract by the US Department of Transportation, Maritime Administration (MARAD) to be the prime contractor for an up to 7-year (3 base years and 4 option years) $400 million program to assist the State of Hawaii, Department of Transportation, Harbors Division in improving the State’s 10 commercial harbors. TEC partnered with subcontractors CH2M Hill, ICRC, Moffatt & Nichol, Bermello Ajamil & Partners, Ho´ākea, Martin & Associates, Harbour Mastery, and Sea Engineering in order to meet MARAD’s needs. The award of this important contract to TEC reflects and deepens the strength of the firm’s experience and ability in the international port planning field.
